The National Research Foundation of Ukraine announces the competition "Individual Scientific Projects 2027-2028".<\/strong><\/p>\n

The competition is aimed at supporting relevant individual projects of Ukrainian scientists to carry out advanced scientific research and development.<\/p>\n

Thematic areas of the Competition:<\/strong>
\nfundamental and applied problems in all branches of science related to solving the most urgent research tasks aimed at the technological, economic, social and cultural progress of Ukraine.<\/p>\n

Topics of projects for the implementation of scientific research and development (hereinafter referred to as Projects)<\/strong>, submitted for participation in the Competition must correspond to at least one of the areas of development of science and technology (in accordance with Article 3 of the Law of Ukraine\u00a0\u00ab"On priority areas of development of science and technology"\u00bb<\/a>):<\/p>\n

1) national security and defense;<\/p>\n

2) fundamental scientific research on the most important problems of developing scientific and technical, socio-economic, socio-political, and human potential to ensure Ukraine's competitiveness in the world and the sustainable development of society and the state;<\/p>\n

3) information and communication technologies;<\/p>\n

4) energy and energy efficiency;<\/p>\n

5) rational use of nature;<\/p>\n

6) life sciences, new technologies for the prevention and treatment of the most common diseases;<\/p>\n

7) new substances and materials.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Duration of implementation of projects that will be selected based on the results of the Competition: up to 2 years.<\/p>\n

The total amount of funding for projects that will be selected based on the results of the Competition: up to 100 million UAH (up to 50 million UAH in 2027 and up to 50 million UAH in 2028).\u00a0<\/p>\n

Date and time of the start of submission of applications for the Competition: 01.04.2026.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Deadline for submitting applications: 01.05.2026.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Terms of conducting scientific and scientific-technical expertise and summing up the results of the Conc<\/strong>Ursu: until 12\/15\/2026 (approximately).<\/strong><\/p>\n

The conditions of the competitive selection, together with the requirements for the participants of the Competition (the scientific supervisor of the project), the criteria for the selection of projects and the numerical evaluation of projects, details on the procedure for preliminary consideration, conducting scientific and scientific-technical expertise and summarizing the results of the Competition, the list of documents submitted by the participant of the Competition together with the application, the grounds for rejecting the application on formal grounds, are contained in the citation (Competition Terms and Conditions<\/a>).<\/p>\n
