Research Foundation of Ukraine (NRFU) announces a competition for scientific research projects &quot;Applied Science for the Resilience and Restoration of Ukraine&quot;.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The competition is aimed at creating knowledge-intensive and competitive scientific and technical products with high potential added value and\/or social value, which can be implemented in production, the social sphere, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Thematic areas of the Competition:<\/strong>&nbsp;applied scientific research or scientific and technical (experimental) developments, the purpose of which is to develop scientifically based solutions to strengthen the resilience of Ukraine (priority areas defined by paragraphs 1, 3-7 of Article 3 of the Law of Ukraine \u201cOn Priority Areas of Development of Science and Technology\u201d).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project must meet one of the following criteria:&nbsp;<strong>thematic areas<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>new technologies, materials and engineering solutions to ensure the sustainability and restoration of industrial and technological systems and the functioning of new sectors of the Ukrainian economy;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>information, digital and mathematical methods for modeling, optimizing and managing processes in conditions of limited resources and increased risks;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>environmental safety and innovative technologies for the preservation, restoration and balanced use of natural resources;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>biomedical technologies, medical engineering and rehabilitation systems;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>new or significantly improved socio-economic, organizational and managerial, institutional and service solutions, models, systems, methodologies and digital tools to ensure the resilience, recovery and development of Ukraine;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>countering disinformation and manipulation in the information space and cultural discourse, aimed at strengthening the information, cultural and communicative security of Ukraine.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Duration of implementation of projects that will be selected based on the results of the Competition:&nbsp;<\/strong>up to 2 years;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The total amount of funding for projects that will be selected based on the results of the Competition:<\/strong>&nbsp;up to 310.8 million UAH (in 2027 \u2013 up to 160.8 million UAH, in 2028 \u2013 up to 150.0 million UAH)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Date and time of the start of submission of applications for the Competition: April 10, 2026;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Application deadline: May 11, 2026;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Deadlines for conducting scientific and scientific-technical expertise and summing up the results of the Competition:<strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><strong>until December 15, 2026&nbsp;<\/strong><strong>(approximately).<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The conditions of the competitive selection, together with the requirements for the participants of the Competition, the scientific supervisor and project executors, the criteria by which the selection of projects is carried out and the numerical evaluation of projects, details regarding the procedure for preliminary consideration, conducting scientific and scientific-technical expertise and summing up the results of the Competition, the list of documents submitted by the participant of the Competition together
