The first stage is from June 16 to August 6, 2026 at HEIs/NUs with submission of materials to the National Electronic Scientific Information System (hereinafter referred to as the System).
Deadline for submission of documents to the System – August 6, 2026 1:00 PM Kyiv time.
The second stage - from August 7 to October 15, 2026 at the Ministry of Education and Science with processing and examination of materials in the System.
Projects for participation in the Competition are submitted according to the following forms: projects of young scientists - according to the Form (Appendix 7 to the Requirements).
Projects for participation in the Competitions are submitted in the System, and the following must be attached to the projects:
- a cover letter with a list of research projects proposed for implementation at the expense of the general fund of the state budget from 2027;
- documents confirming the results of the first stage of the Competition: a copy of the order on the first stage of the Competition and an extract from the minutes of the meeting of the academic (scientific, scientific-technical, technical) council of the higher education institution or scientific institution. certificate from the State Border Service of Ukraine (period from 01.06.2025 to 01.06.2026);
- certificate from the accounting department about funds raised from other sources of funding (special fund for science) (if available).
For projects specified in paragraph 5 of the Requirements, which will be implemented on the basis of centers for collective use of scientific equipment, the following documents must be uploaded to the System:
- a copy of the order of the Ministry of Education and Science on the creation of a center for the collective use of scientific equipment, established in accordance with the established procedure;
- regulations on access to and use of scientific equipment; regulations on the Central Scientific and Technical Research Center;
- link to the electronic service for placing remote orders and conducting research.
